Beach trip photos!

Over the last six day we went to Destin, FL. (near Panama city) It was really nice. I only took my camera to the beach once, but I took a lot of photos(:

The pictures that I’m about to post are from the Topsail Hill Preserve State park by the beach. (I think it’s between Destin and Rosemary beach) It was so pretty! you walk about a mile or so then you come out to about three miles of just beach- no high-rises, Shops or Restaurants, just beach. They have (I think this is what they said) 10-25 ft. Dunes! It was pretty cool. If you ever go that way defiantly go. The walk that we went on took you through a Pine, Palm and Mangrove tree forest. It’s a Bicycle, Pedestrian and tram trail. We walked up and rode the Tram back. Well, I’ll stop talking now. Here are the photos!

This was a flower along the path.

The sky was really blue that day. This isn’t a very good picture, but I really needed to take a photo of that sky!

IMG_4343.JPG

I don’t know what this was. (I need to do some research on my plants!) It’s not golden rod. But I thought I was really pretty.

IMG_4348.JPG

This was one of the pines along the path. They are quite Majestic.

IMG_4355.JPG

This is what the path looked like. I could’ve stayed there all day. In the lakes along the path they had Alligators😳 (I’m not a fan) They also had Florida black bears. We luckily missed these animals.

IMG_4356.JPG

The whole walk looked like this. The bird songs were so very pretty during our walk. Every inch (until you got to the beach, that is) looked like this.

IMG_4359.JPG

This is where the water runs through to a lake. Look at those Palms!

Here are the Dunes. It doesn’t look like it, but that one was probably 9-12 feet!

IMG_4366.JPG

On the boardwalk! There was nobody (except us, of course) at this particular beach that day. It was so nice! if you every go, try to go in October. It was perfect weather.

Here lies the Sea!

IMG_4374.JPG

We didn’t find any shells at this beach, but at the beach where we stayed we found 5 or so sandollars! We got up and went to the beach around 6 A.M. every morning and would find 1 or 2 sandollars and TONS of shells.

Three of the days were Red flag, two were Yellow, and one was Green. The best day was the last day of Red flag, when my brother and I went Body-boarding. It was really fun because the waves weren’t quite as ferocious as the days before.

IMG_4400.JPG

This looks like a painting, doesn’t it?

IMG_4386.JPG

The water was warm from heating over the summer! This was the third day we were there, one of the Red flag days.

That’s it for now, I hoped you enjoyed! If you’re ever in Florida definitely go to Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. It was probably my favorite thing other than the beach and the shops at Rosemary beach and the Seaside shops. Thank you for Reading!

Well, Hello there Autumn!

This Morning I was walking outside to put a letter in the Mailbox, And a very cold pleasant sensation was in the air. I bet it’s 50° outside. Brrr. Although, my brother and I really should get out there with our Kites. It’s quite windy, and today would be a great day for that. Anyway, I thought I’d share some pictures from just a few moments ago, while the white dew was still on the Autumnal leaves that have fallen.

First thing this morning I let my chickens (from left to right) Skeeter, Minnie, Abeline, and Ophelia out to peck the early morning worms out of the grass. Ophelia (far left) looks very proud and noble today, doesn’t she?

IMG_4229.JPG

Ophelia again getting her (not appealing to human appetites) breakfast: Worms and Crickets./: It’s kind of fun to watch Chickens do their thing; somehow it’s slightly peaceful.

IMG_4230.JPG

One of the few pretty fall leaves. It’s Kind of sad; The Leaves in this part of Georgia don’t really have that much color. They just seem to wither and fall. (Is that why Autumn is sometimes called fall? because of the leaves?)

IMG_4236.JPG

Hay from the field next-door. I love how Orange-Brown colored it turns in Autumn.

IMG_4240.JPG

The Hay Field next-door. Hay bales are on of my favorite sights to see. My brother and I both love to jump on them. We made up a game that you have five seconds to run to the next closest Hay Bale. Usually, we can only do about three(:

We have this old, Rusty plow that is very photogenic. Whenever I take pictures of friends they sit in this.

That’s it for know, Thanks for Reading! ~Audrey Kate/theJunebugblog

A Hike into Nature

Hello! Earlier we went on a lovely Hike to the top of a mountain, through the forest, past the creek, and back down. My Legs are sore now. (; I couldn’t not take my Camera!

We’ll start of with a flower, because that’s how all good things start(:

IMG_4211.JPG

I see these little purple daisy-like flowers a lot. Does anybody know what they are? that way I could address them a little more formally. (;

The Morning dew glinting off a newly made web. Luckily for me the spider who occupies this web was out! (I don’t like spiders, but their webs sure are pretty!) Speaking of spider webs, this urges me to make a book recommendation: Charlottes web. It’s so good.(:

kak

People on the Trail make these little towers about every ten or so feet. Aren’t they cute? This one was about a foot tall.

Here’s some moss. You just can’t go wrong with moss. This was the softest, memory foam-ish moss. (you will most likely see lots of moss photos on this blog. It’s my go-to.(:

IMG_4201.JPG

Leftovers of a dandelion. (Well, i think it’s a dandelion:/) they all looked like this. Perfect Photo prop!

IMG_4206

I have absolutely no clue what this is. It was everywhere on the trail, so of course I took a picture! I call it WISPIES. Sounds like something out of a comic!

A close-up of some pine. Pine smells so good and christmasie. Overtime I smell it i think of christmas.🎄

Another flower. This was the only one of these during the whole hike. All good things end with a flower too.
