OCTOBER!! INKTOBER! AUTUMN!
*cough, choke*
Let me calm myself…
Greetings! Β Today I have photographed my October bullet journal setup, and I though you might enjoy.
I really like fall (like I said HERE.. And here.. and here…), so I had to incorporate that someplace, and leaves sprung up. Originally, I was thinking about a pumpkin, but leaves are just so… fun!
I kept it fairly simple, using my Tombow dual-brush pens and a micron and a Tombow Fudenosuke. I sketched it out, then I picked some “fallish” colors. I kept the lineart fairly simple as well, like not going around the edges, but just the veins in the leaf.
On the right page, the one for my calendar, I did simple orange/gold rectangular boxes and brush lettering on top with the day. I like the overall appearance of these pages. They have a nice warm vibe.
I had to stretch the 31st day onto the next page, so in the blanks next to it I put wash tape from Target. Below I really wanted to incorporate the Anne of Green Gables quote, “Aren’t you so glad we live in a world where there are Octobers?” so I thought that was the best place. Below I did goals, reminders and to-do’s in red boxes. I like to add this near the calendar so it will remind you not to procrastinate(:
On the right I did my regular habit tracker in micron, then the leaves. I wanted to keep this one simple as to not compete with the opposite page(:
I made this little letter tracker page with a black micron and I used the same leaves. It’s always fun to have a repetitive theme for the month, like I’ve been doing since June (ish). They’re always fun to look back on!
On the right I have the inktober prompts written down so I can easily check them off. (Don’t forget to look back during the month for Inktober progress!) I used the same leaf colors to create a gradient with the words. I really like doing this(:
And for the last pages I mainly just stayed the same. Black micron and leaves. The left is blog ideas for the month ( (: ), and to the right was just overall ideas I have.
That’s a wrap, for now. I hope you all enjoyed this month’s setup, come back soon!
Which page is your favorite? To you like Autumn? Do you like raking leaves?
I’m also doing Inktober. Good luck! β€

Love your choice of autumn colour palette. The leaves look great and I like the way you’ve used rainbow colours blended for your lettering too.
