Isn’t it chaotic? The world, I mean.
It seems like everywhere you look, or listen, there is some new news. Some new discovery or new report of this illness.
I was in the midst. I have been caught up in checking where it was, how it’s spreading, and we partly joined in the worry. (Boy, I’ve never gone to the grocery store so much! XD)
Just because there’s something scary going on in the word, doesn’t mean the world stops.
The flowers bloom, the birds, in their tumultuous songs, are everywhere.
I took a drive in our old golf cart around the property the other day and realized,
Nature goes on. God doesn’t stop Spring and turn it grey to suit the mood. It’s as beautiful as it always is.
I don’t know what to make of this pandemic. It is scary. But we can’t let our fear or worry let us forget that there is still beauty. And behind it a God who loves and cares deeply, more deeply than we can fathom, for US.
I know this is happening to people who you may know, maybe your close family, maybe you. I hope and pray everything will be well, I truly do.
God loves you. It’s a wonderful thing to remember in a time like this. He can turn ugly into beautiful, awful into wonderful.
I just wanted to share some thoughts I have during this time. I hope you are doing well and are safe at home. I am praying for you. Be well!
How is the pandemic where you are? Are you at home for awhile? What are you doing during this time?
wow…so true, AK! So far we don’t have a lot of cases near us…in our state but none in our county, thankfully! Although Michigan is on lockdown now until mid-April. My dad is home from work which is a blessing! We are busy doing projects here at home. It’s definitely a scary time, but God is faithful and He rules over it all. God bless!

That’s good! The less cases the better. It’s scary when it gets close. Oh yay! It’s nice that parents get to work from home during this.
He does! Thank you, Tori!

Wonderful post!! ❤ ❤ There has definitely been a pandemic where we are, and we are ordered to stay home and to only go out for necessities. I'm occupying myself by doing school, reading, and writing lots of letters!!

Thank you! Same here, we’re on “Shelter-in-place”. Yes! It’s great time to read and write letters! I’ve been doing the same(:

Thank you for the beautiful, yet simple encouragement! God is so good even though we go through hardships. He shows us that through so many things. Thanks for sharing!

I’m fine thanks for asking! Homeschooling is actually quite cool, I get to manage my time more! You know what it may be because I don’t have a good camera but I’ve never seen nature really beautifully until I saw those pics! ❤️ We should be grateful for what we have instead of annoyed at the things happening in the world.

AMEN! I’ve been thinking the same thing. ❤ Spring has always been a beautiful, fresh, and magical season for me, and no way am I going to let the chaos take away that joy. :)) Haha, still no budding trees here, but I'm just waiting. 😛

Beautifully written, AK! Despite what is going on and the fear, worry, and panic, God is still control. We don’t know what the result is going to be after this flies over, but this is all apart of God’s plan. We just need to trust Him and remember that He knows what is best. ❤ I live in CA and we're currently on a "shelter shut-in." It's been kind of weird not being able to go anywhere. But thankfully where I live, we have a backyard, so I can still get fresh air and take new photos. However, to keep myself busy inside the house, I've been spending more time with God, doing school (it's great that this pandemic doesn't affect my online schooling!), reading books (soon the DMV book, too), blogging, catching up with friends, and pen pal writing. I'm so glad that I am able to still connect with people! What have you been doing during this time?

Thank you so much, Heaven! We have a shelter-in-place now, too. I know, being restricted from leaving is weird. Yes! It’s almost a blessing, not the sickness, but being able to be calm, and still, not rushing this way and that. It’s a nice time to savor moments of stillness at home.
I have been doing the same things, lots of pen palling and reading and painting, school, yard work with my family, its’ been nice. Thank you for the wondrous comment! ❤

I live in Minneapolis, and I have been thinking some of the same things. The world seems to be going crazy, and yet it’s beautiful out. People are still smiling, and walking, and running. Birds are singing and squirrels are scampering around. It’s getting warm and festive feeling. God is good.
