Is my big pink sweater, snow pants and fuzzy socks a bit much?
Nah. Guess what, it’s Fall! Yessssssssss!
I have posted way to many posts talking about how much I love Fall (literally 4,579 of them), but have I posted 4,579 times about how many times I love Fall letter art? *sly smile*
I have had a bit of a letter pile-up-catastrophe of late. I sat down to solve it today and after excitedly glancing at my calendar where the words “FALL!!!” were written a various amount of times, I decided to break out the watercolors and the plaid wash tape and hit it.
Here they are(:
I love uniformity in colors and patterns in my letter writing. And I love sending tea in the cooler months, it’s just a fun something you can send that, even if you don’t drink it, can spark a little happy. I used gray, gold and red for this letter, andI like the outcome pretty well. What do you thinks?

I have been enjoying the torn paper technique for accents on the envelopes. The torn photos and music and wash tape at a interesting difference in textures that I really enjoy. It’s easy and fun, you should definitely give it a try!

I remember, when I was little, my Mama let my brother and I each pick out a pumpkin at a local outdoor nursery. My brother, being a little boy, got a funky looking green one with spots and a curly stem. I remember looking for awhile and the I found a little round pumpkin with tiny pot full of flowers in it. I wanted to paint that, so I did on some envelopes! I want to do that to some pumpkins this year.

I had this picture in my mind of a girl reading in a window seat, and so I transferred it to an envelope. I would like to be her, wouldn’t you?

Ahh, the colors of Fall… (:

I’ve found that using sticker letters is a super fun way to spice up an envelope, and it’s super easy! This one was fun.

Well, I must go. I hope you all enjoyed this little array of envelopes, and I will see you next time!

What’s on the books for you this Fall? Do you like letter writing? Do you do art on your envelopes? Is it sunny where you are?

It’s fall now!!!!!!!!!!! Those are beautiful!!!! I love letter writing except I’m not as talented as you are when it comes to decorating your envelope….. So I usually just use a brown envelope with a wax seal! XD You should do a post about envelope decorating for beginners and include a few tutorials for simple drawings!! Have a great week!!

Oh my goodness, those are so cute! I have been thinking about doing some fall themed letters for my pen-pals, so you gave me some great ideas. I am going to have to try some of these! And yeah, it is super sunny where I live. We are actually going to have a heat-wave this weekend, which is kind of weird because summer is officially over. *facepalm* But, whatever! π Hopefully the leaves will start to change soon, at the least!

Thank you, Heaven!! I’m glad they gave a few ideas! A heat wave? We’re getting a cold snap on the first week of October. XD Isn’t it always disappointing when you start a new season and it just wants to go back to the previous one?

your envelopes are always gorgeous and these are no different!! My two favorites would have to be the pumpkin with flowers in it and the girl in the window seat, those two are magical and I love the fall colors!

Heh, so Iβm not the only one who has worn snow pants already.
Fuzzy socks and hoodies or sweaters are essential fall items.
Lovely envelope art π
