April Showers Bring…. // APRIL BUJO Setup and POLL!

Hello everyone!

I am quite sad that I have been so missing in action from my blog lately. I plan to make an appearance more than I have recently starting now. I’ve missed it!

I absotively (yes, it’s a word. I just made it up. Seems fitting.) can’t believe we’re already at April. Normally the January through March months seem to go by really slowly, but 2020 and this year, thus far, have blown by. I don’t support that. I assume April and May will go fast as well, with school wrapping up and Summer plans starting to be made. If any of you are still in school, when do you end for the year? My family usually breaks the day-before Memorial day. Not too long!

Anyway, y’all know the drill. The first of the month brings a new bullet journal setup on my blog. I went just easy and colorful and fun for this month, and I think it turned out fun! Also, please stay until the end to take a poll!

I will say, the first two pages host a font I really don’t like. Oh well.. it does get better. ;P

On the lefthand side there is a quote (one that seems to be a go-to in my BuJo, oh dear!) that says “Joy is the most magnetic force in the universe.” I believe it to be true.

The righthand side has the intro for the month, “APRIL”. I outlined it in black (the font and the page) and then I did colorful abstract dots all over. This is carried throughout.

The next two pages are the holders of this month’s calendar. I used the same font and then the corresponding colors of the first two pages. A fairly simple layout, but very effective!

The left page in this spread has a quad of different things: goals, to dos, reminders, and ideas. I like to group them together; oftentimes each the four play off of each other. Surrounding this I have the same pattern as the previous pages.

On the right page I have Spring goals (I know this should’ve been started in March, technically, but I was making that layout in February, so I guess Spring wasn’t quite on my mind yet. XD) which I decided into three columns for different things.

On the left of this set of pages I have my usual habits tracker. I’ve had the same few habits to build for the past few months: Bible (daily readings), Tidy up (any area I’m in daily), Water (at least 64 oz. daily), and Skincare (in the evenings and mornings). I’m pretty good about all of them, but having this opened up by my bed encourages me.

On the right I have the first weekly log.

This is probably the busiest, and quite possibly my favorite, spread in this month. I went ahead and made the rest of the weekly logs for this month, and where the month ended (far right) I slid in the money tracker (incoming and outgoing money). It actually works quite well with this layout, especially if you’re running out of pages and want to save space.

On the left, I have the mail tracker for this month. Just the usual, envelope shapes rectangles where I write the name of the person, the date in the left hand corner, and I check the “stamp” (the square in the righthand corner) when I’ve replied and mailed it out.

On the right I have a section where I can give a recap of the month. I like doing this so I can go back and read about all I did later.

Well, that’s all for April’s setup! I’d love to hear what you think. Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Easter if we don’t chat before then!

Do you have Easter plans? What is the weather usually like in April where you live? Do you like the Spring? What is your favorite recipe?

Go Find Some Clovers // MARCH BUJO Setup

Well, hello!

*Nervous laughter* It’s only a few hours until March. Augh. What.?! I know I say this every month but, it never fails to surprise me how fast the months come ’round.

I have created a new setup for this upcoming month, so I though I would share!

It is a very blue toned theme. I wanted to do a somewhat monochrome scheme because next month’s theme is very colorful, so I went with blues. (:

On the left, I have “Bloom where you are planted” to fill in that empty page. On the right, I have a “dutch door” With flowers and the month’s title. I made it a bit curvy to add some dimension and texture and to follow the shape of the flowers.

P.s… Didn’t mean to show my fingers in all of these!

I started my month’s calendar on the other side of the dutch door to the other page. On the bottom, a short quote and the carryover of the design.

On the left, I have ‘To- do’ ‘Reminders’ ‘Goals’ and ‘Ideas’ In rectangles, surrounded by the floral design. Very simple, but easy to layout and write in.

On the right, I have a very simple habits page–only the grid and the words. I thought it might be best to not over do the florals. What do you think?

On these two pages, I have two weeks worth of weekly logs, each with a ‘to-do’ list at the bottom.

On the left we have the letter/mail tracker for this month and sparse design elements. On the right I have a page of grids for money tracking.

On this left page we have one more weekly log, and for this one I played with a different layout–more horizontal. I used the different blues to define it a bit. It includes a ‘to-do’ at the bottom as well.

On the right, a quote and design that says: “You want nothing but patience–or give it a more fascinating name; call it hope” by Jane Austen.

The last pages wrap up the weekly logs for this month. It is more horizontal as well, using the same colors as before. On the right side at the bottom there is a small area for the month’s recap, too. I like to refer to these at the end of the year!

Well, I hope y’all enjoyed! I’m sorry I have been such a very bad blogger lately, I want to start posting more soon! Please share any and all ideas you may have, I’d love to hear. Thank you for reading!

Do you like blue? What is your favorite thing about March? Any Plans? What is your favorite history book? Chocolate or peanut butter?

Not Too Many Hearts.. // February BUJO Setup

Hello! How are things?

*

*

Good!

Haha, I hope y’all are well.

Today is very exciting because I’m posting about a bullet journal setup I am very excited about. And, can you believe there are only 2 days (?!) until February? I am at a bit of a loss for words. On month down already, whoosh! That was fast, it seems!

I have been very intrigued by the Dark and Light Academia aesthetics of late, and because I have a bullet journal, I though I’d try my hand at the aesthetic inside of it. I really enjoyed making this and laying it out, I hope you like it!

The main thing I notice about the Academia aesthetics is that they have a lot of tones of neutrals, so I went with that. For the most part, the only pens I used were the Tombow fudenosuke brush pen (hard tip) and a Pilot ink pen and a white gel pen for accents here and there.

I picked out some kraft paper for some different tones and I printed off some small photos and art to glue down (HERE is a link to my Pinterest board where you can find these additions to my bullet journal!) and to add some texture and depth and different elements to the spread. I used a very typewriter like font throughout, which is something i don’t do often, but really enjoyed.

I did a simple, two page calendar layout for this month (And I was very excited because there is a even number of days, 28, and this month starts on Monday! Eee!) and included the neutral colors and kraft paper at the bottom, as well as the same font and print outs.

On this next page I have Goals, To Do, Reminders and Ideas in one “scroll.” I love doodling things like this, so I figured I’d sling on in here somewhere. XD

On the other side I have a vertical layout (you can click here where I show you my BUJO add ons, and there I mention different layouts) for my habit trackers, featuring the same colors, fonts and prints. My habits to continue to build are daily bible reading, skin care at night, read daily, and keep a tidy room. What habits will you be building?

These two ( and a 1/2, I suppose) pages have the first two weekly logs of the month. I did a dutch door page in between where I doodled some books and letters and tea.

I think the next two pages might just be my favorite; perhaps, the dark colors, layout, I’m not sure! But, on the left we have the mail tracker (which is who I got a letter from, when, and did I reply) with various clips of photos and quotes.

On the next page I sketched a quote that says, “Those who have not more, must be satisfied with what they have.” By Jane Austen. It seemed to go with a bit of the “simple” theme. What are some of your favorite quotes?

This next page I have the money tracker for the month. It’s just the usual grid setup I do (see here for reference) with the addition of a budget space, and some beautiful pictures of libraries. ❤ Ahhh

On the right side I have a very simple weekly log. I felt like something simple might be fun beside such a busy money tracker. What do you think?

The next page is a planning page for somethings I’m hosting and teaching in February, they are just divided by a thin line.

On the right, I have another weekly log that is the same as the previous one, but with the addition of a slab of books. (:

Y’all. What is this?! Why is it touching my bullet journal?! Haha, Maisy wanted to show you her lovely hand curls.

The last page is a quote with some lovely, dreamy photos. The quote says, “Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to experience.” Seems like a nice one to add in the mix! (:

On the right, I have a “scroll” with a “Month Recap” inside that I will fill out at the end of the month saying a few of the things I had done in it. (:

What did y’all think? Do y’all like the academia aesthetics?

I hope you are doing well and happy February!

What is your favorite aesthetic? Do you like neutral colors? What would be a exciting post to see? Favorite restaurant?

February Setup // Guest Post

Hello there, everybody!

I am excited for today’s post because today we have a special guest, Zainab, to show us her lovely February setup. It is so cute! Okay, I’m going to hand it over to her, I hope y’all enjoy! Also, stay tuned for my February setup coming soon. (:

For this setup, I decided to go for the colour schemes of pink and a teal blue. Mainly because February is the month of Valentines; and purely because these colours are really cute together! I wrote ‘February’ in block letters and coloured the inside of the ribbon pink outlining the ribbon teal!

In my monthly spread, I drew the Februrary calendar and inside the blocks I wrote the dates and alternated between the two main colours! On the second page, I write down any birthdays or special events! I then drew a heart underneath!

For the weekly spread I decided to use a ruler to make different sections for every day where I write my daily to do lists! Again, alternating between teal and pink!

I have 4 main trackers I mainly use: Reading, Exercise, Mood and Gratitude. I’ve found they’re all super beneficial for me! Reading and Exercising are things I want to turn into constant habits and I want to start tracking my moods and what I’m grateful for! All these trackers will be using my colour scheme!

Thank you so much again Audrey for letting me guest post today! I’d love it if you guys could check out my blog – https://zainabchats.wordpress.com

Wasn’t her setup just lovely? What was your favorite part? Do you like apples?

Bullet Journaling 2021 // Tips and Favorite Designs

Happy New Year! (plus one day. (: )

I have had a few questions about different things regarding bullet journaling recently, so I figured that I would make a post where I talk about a few of my favorite things when bullet journaling (including my favorite journals) and the different styles of fonts and pens. And, a page of titles and designs I love.

I have tried a few bullet journals in my time including one from Hobby Lobby that was abandoned on a end cap, a dupe for the Archer and Olive journals that I can’t pronounce (here. This is what I used last year. Very pretty!) , and these, which are my favorite that I have used. These journals are by Minimalism Art. They have a significant range in sizes and pages, and they have quite a lot of colors. For this year, I chose two of the 190 page journals. One white, one black. In 2019 I used the tan one which has a bit over 250 pages, which is just enough for a year for me. But I liked black and white, so I got the two smaller page journals to get me through 2021.

LAYOUT

I have tested out quite a few different types of pages as far as the grid goes, and a few years back landed on dotted grid pages as my favorite. I like that you can do art on top of them and you don’t see big lines, and they are faint, but you can still see them to help yourself make straight lines every time. But, most dots in each journal (any journals) are different. So, whenever I get a new dotted bullet journal I make a little not in the front about how many dots wide and tall the journal contains. This helps me if I need to make a line straight through the middle and I won’t have to cont up all the dots to find the mid part.

I make little grids all of the time, and I usually just freehand them by counting out 8 dots (or 7 spaces) and then draw it two dots high. Depending on the size o your journal, you might want to go 2 or 3, maybe even 4 dots tall if your dots are tiny and close together.

I am going to keep it pretty simple as far as the design goes for this post, but you are welcome to turn it into whatever you like! I like to look at stickers or pretty papers or pictures of different things on pinterest to decide my theme, but sometimes I just make it up without looking at anything for inspiration, too. For this design, I had these cute floral themed stickers to which I drew inspiration.

If you’re going for a simple theme, just centering your title (the name of the month) in the page with minimal designs around (I just did three flowers diagonally on each side of the title) is really pretty. I love going for more simple themes like this, but I also love going more into detail with harder themes. Speaking of, any theme ideas for this year you’d like me to try?

Choosing a color scheme can be one of the hardest parts for me, but go with what you love! For this theme I chose warmer, rosy tones and a deeper warm green in the Tombow dual brush pens (the exact shades are 772, 912, 026 and 249, which are all dear favorites that I’ve used multiple times in bullet journal setups.). You don’t have to over do it as far as color goes. Just a black pen and/or black brush pen and one or two colors would be plenty!

This kind of simple design is really easy and pretty, and you could carry these little flowers (or hearts or leaves or pumpkins ar books, whatever you choose!) through the rest of your pages and it would be so pretty!

I always like to make a little insert in my journal of my most used fonts to refer to through the year to help keep everything cohesive. Number 1,2,4,6 and 8 are the ones y’all see the most, but somewhere I would like to use the bubble letters (#7). A bit farther down I have a list of title fonts you could use to refer to, hope they help! (:

Below are some fun title and design ideas I love. Let me know if you use any!

I do weekly logs in every spread, and I seem to always be trying out a new layout. Below are the ones I have used many times before. You can check out this, this, this, and this to see a few of these designs in action.

These are my favorite and most-used pens. Overall, my most used are the Tombow Fudenosuke brush pens. If you don’t have them, they’re worth the $7!

Below I have the Pigma Micron in 02 (my favorite fineliner!), the Tombow dual brush pen, a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen, a Tombow Fudenosuke, a pencil, a Ecoline brush pen, and a Baoke brush pen (in S23). If you want a more detailed pen post, let me know!

And lastly, the main add ends I love to use in my bullet journal: Washi tape and stickers. I find these add some very fun colors, patterns and textures, and you can use whatever suits your fancy! I also like to incorporate kraft paper, patterned paper, magazine clippings, etc. But, these two categories are my main used(:

Maisy wishes you all farewell and Happy New Year! ❤

I hope you all enjoyed this post, and maybe you were able to pick up a tip or two. I hope you are all doing well, have a lovely day! And, please be sure to leave me any post suggestions below, I’d love to hear what you would be interested to see.(:

Do you do any of these things in your bullet journal? What is your favorite color group? Do you like sweet or salty better?

Farewell, 2020 // January 2021 BUJO Setup

Wow. It is almost 2021.

Friends, we have experienced much this year. Some had the year very hard, some not too bad, but just because we’ve had a year of extreme uncertainty (and surprise.. heh) doesn’t mean we can’t look forward to and make the best of the new year!

I just wanted to share a bit of encouragement since the past year has left everyone a bit confused and uncertain. I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday and are looking forward to new and exciting opportunities in 2021!

Also… HOW IS IT A NEW YEAR?! It’s been a fast year for me. How about y’all?

I am kind of in that fresh, minimal, simple, organized mood of late (I always tend to get that way for the start of the year) and so I wanted to bring that, of a sort, to my bullet journal. I am taking American Sign Language (ASL) for high school, and for a project I had to draw some of the letters on an online program, but I figured I would try my hand drawing them in my journal! This isn’t on every page, but I do incorporate it wherever I can. This can be copied with any design, but I thought It would be a fun thing to look back on someday.

I used more pastel, “happy” colors and black fine liner to do most of this. (I use similarly colored wash tape later on, too.)

I did a two page spread for the calendar using the same colors and designs. For the day of the week (M, T,W,T,F,S,S, etc..) I sued the fingerspelling alphabet letter. Takes up space, but fun!

Right up front I made my year-at-a-glance layout. I like doing this at the beginning of the year to see the day layouts for the year, and to put the important dates up in front.

I wanted to do a vision board for 2021, which is all the things I enjoy or want to enjoy. Also, to bring inspiration.

The left page I made a month goals and a to do section. I just made simple lists and the use of the same colors, and some fingerspelling above the label saying the same.

On the other page, I have a quote, “You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.” by Zig Zigler. I tried to use a scratchy type of lettering for a faded look. It worked out perfectly, because I have a dying Tombow Fudenosuke pen I have been using. XD

On the left, I have the usual habit tracker layout of four month overview grids and I used the same pastels and title/ASL translation in fingerspelling.

The right side has the first weekly log, with the date numbers(1st, 2nd, etc) in ASL. I used the same font and colors.

I continued this layout (though the font is moved to the middle) for the second week of January.

On the next page, I have my “Big Goals” for 2021. These are the ones I really want to complete, though I have a separate section for the more detailed goals.

The next is the very same weekly log layout. Same everything, actually. Sometimes doing the same weekly logs keeps things simple.

On the next page, I have a very simplified version of my money tracker than usual (you can see what I usually do here) to keep with the simple idea.

These next two pages are reading focused. The left page is a layout for books I WANT to read, and the right page is books I WILL read. I put them together last year and it helped to have them close to each other.

These next two pages I finish my weekly logs for the month, and have a month recap on the right.

I’m not exactly sure what happened for the left page. I had originally planned it to be something else but it went in a different direction. Anywho.. There is a quote on this page, and on the other page a gift ideas and wishlist section. Often throughout the year I think of things I might need or want to get for others, etc.. so I have a page I can add things on throughout the year.

This is the section of resolutions or goals for the year. I made a wide and cropped dutch-door layout for the different categories in my goals. I have about 8 sections total. I love making the big goals, then making smaller ones to accomplish.

For the last two pages, I have my mail tracker in the same theme colors.

On the next (and last) page, I have a “Farewell to you January!” doodle.

I hope y’all have had a wonderful holiday season and I wish you the best for 2021!

Are you hopeful for 2021? What are your goals and hopes? What dreams do you have for this year? Are you bullet journaling for this year? What is your favorite color category (pastel, neon, etc.)?

April Showers Bring… // May BUJO Setup

mAY iS hERE

Hello!

Oh wait… I must’ve mean’t to write January in the title ’cause it sure don’t feel like May!

It’s crazy to think how fast everything’s going. Wow. Even in quarantine, I feel almost as busy as before, even without going places. It’s been nice to get to do things I’ve wanted to do or needed to do. I’ve been able to paint a lot, I finished changing up my room, cleaned a lot, I’ve written new music, it’s been nice.

Whilst we’ve been doing school during the day (while my Mom reads aloud) I’ve been working on my May bullet journal setup.

I’ve been wanting to try watercolors in my bujo for awhile, so I figured I’d give it a go this month. I’m pretty happy with it, I love all the colors and the dainty floral.

To the left, I started out the month with a quote, “the earth laughs in flowers” and I put various florals beneath. To the right I have the first page of the month, which states the month and is surrounded by flowers.

IMG_1446

My next two pages are the calendar for the month. My April calendar (see here) was left quite blank, since there was no event in April, but I thought I’d do one for May, just in case. (:

I wrote “May” again, and I did a border of flowers around the calendar. If you remember August, I did the same calendar layout there. I needed a bit more color, so I did a little dollop of color where the day’s number goes

IMG_1452

IMG_1454

This left page is my goals and to do’s for the month. I needed a bit more color so I… you know… completely filled in the rectangles with completely random colors in my watercolor pan. *slightly convincing grin* XD

My next page is my habit trackers. For this month I am trying to build the habit of 5+ bottles water, daily bible reading, practice all the instruments, and walk/run daily. Do you have any habits to build this upcoming month?

IMG_1455

My first weekly log is fairly simple, the first square says it’s “the first week of May” and flowers. I went and drew in the other squares and I colored in the 0’s with different colors.

IMG_1458

The next page is my Spring100 mile tracker. I surrounded this with flowers and incased it in black.

The next page is a quote, another “flowery” one. XD

“Bloom where you are planted”

IMG_1459

IMG_1460

The next weekly log is a loopy layout, pretty easy, too! I put the date in a circle with flowers inside. Underneath “notes” I decided to add a few more flowers. Better get as many as I can in there, ya know?

IMG_1462

IMG_1463

Hehe, I took a picture whilst I was photographing this setup. I had to squat to take the photos, so it was a funny photography setup. XD

IMG_1474

My next page is for blog post ideas. Do you have any for me? I’d love to know!

The next one is my letter tracker. The “stamp” (which is a box I check if I’ve sent a reply) I painted different colors along both of the pages on the bottom.

IMG_1465

I wanted to be a bit more conservative for the third weekly log, so I am trying putting the whole week on one page. Hopefully it’ll work, small writing must get to work! On the left of the day I have a flower, on the right, the date.

The right page is a.. window. Hehe! Quite random, but fun!

IMG_1467

I squished the rest of the month (10 days) onto two pages. I did lines of color, with words appearing to be behind that, and on the color I wrote the same, though in cursive. This is my happy page. I like how vibrant the colors came out for this weekly log a lot. On the bottom of the right page, I did “end of the month to-do’s” and flowers.

IMG_1470IMG_1478

These pages are some of my favorite. I got excited about Summery colors, so I went ham. XD

This is my “Summer Goals” pages, and the category I chose are Blog, Bible (as in scripture memorization, daily readings/plans, etc), Art, and Other (like baking, cooking, cleaning, etc). This can be stretched over many pages or turned into multiple columns. You might like to use this, even if you don’t bujo. I find that setting goals for myself helps me be more productive, especially if it’s in a time (like Summer) where you have more time on your hands. (:

IMG_1480

Normally, in the beginning of the year I make an address page, but I realize that I hadn’t yet, so I did! I used thin washi tape as a border between the different addresses. At the top I used a banner (see my banner post here), and I made it  rather loopy to opposite the straight lines.

IMG_1483

I hope y’all enjoyed this month’s setup! I can NOT believe May is almost here. What are your May’s typically like? Anything to look forward to?

Have a wonderful rest of your day!

February? Already? // Bullet Journal Setup

February

Greetings and Salutations!

Let’s just slow down a minute… Where did January go?!

It feels like this month flew past, does it to you?

Anyway, February is right around the corner (currently 11 hours and 40 minutes away), so I got my bullet journal ready for the new month. I hope you enjoy!

This month’s theme is Eucalyptus. I wanted to go for a simpler theme this month using only a few colors, so I used a blue/green and light pink and gold.

My eucalyptus is very simple, just round leafy shapes.

I used my Tombow dual brush pens for all of this. (Heh, y’all probably here me talk about them all the time. They are just the best for bullet journaling! <3)

IMG_0043

My next page includes the rest of the calendar and my goals for the month, also including the eucalyptus.

the other page has the monthly habit trackers in light pink (♥️), 5+ cups water, bible reading, skin care, and music practice.

IMG_0047

My next pages are pretty simple, just to do’s and reminders. I included a few colorful stickers from my beloved Hob Lob (as my Mother and I call it. XD) because I needed some more color.

IMG_0048

This next page I meant  to do in January, but I had already started February when I remembered. It’s the birthdays page. This is really helpful to me throughout the year to reference. I just wrote the month name over a highlighter and then wrote the birthdays underneath with their date.

The other page is my monthly letter tracker. I used the light pink and did eucalyptus in the background.

IMG_0049IMG_0050

This page is my monthly money tracker: Earned, expenses, balance of the two. It’s really  helpful and keeps me organized.

I had to do some kind of valentine’s day related theme, so I wrote proverbs 3:5 among some hearts. ♥️

IMG_0052IMG_0053

The next page is my blog post ideas for the month.

The next is from my last post where I did a banner tutorial. I ended up coloring them in for fun.

IMG_0054

This is my washi tape collection spread. I like to include this in my bullet journals so I can look at the one I want to use before I tear it off the roll.

IMG_0057

This next page is a packing list for when we go to my Aunt’s house later this month. I doodled some suitcases/train cases for fun. (:

The next page is my daily routine. I made this last year and I enjoyed looking at it to motivate me. I did light pink bullet dots and the eucalyptus.

IMG_0059

And that’s it! I hope you all enjoyed! Stay posted near the end of this month for March, I’m really excited for that one.

New posts coming soon!

HOW TO: 6 Simple Banners // The Happy BUJO

6 Simple

Hi! *waves*

Happy Monday to ya!

I love adding little elements to my bullet journal, whether it be stickers, washi tape, designs, I love it to be colorful and fun.

IMG_9626
Banner used as heading.

One of my favorite things to add is banners. I use them a lot as headers, and titles, and there are so many different ways, lengths and styles.

I wanted to share some of my favorite ways with you today!

I always start out sketching my banners, so this will be in pencil(:

#1 A Simple Banner

Start out with a simple rectangle, any size.

IMG_9954

Then add two lines on the bottom third of your rectangle.

IMG_9955

Create from those lines two more rectangles.

IMG_9958

From the bottom corners of the main rectangle, draw a diagonal line to the corners of the two rectangles below. This creates the 3d “folded” effect.

IMG_9959

Line it, then add shading to the “folded” part, if you choose. I always just hatch it, giving it a simpler feel, but you can color it or even use black!

IMG_9962

#2 A Bit More Intricate

This banner is mostly the same, with one small modification that makes it look a bit fancier.

Start with the same as the first, one rectangle, then draw two underneath, add the diagonal lines to create the “fold”, BUT, before you line it…

Start from the top outward corners of the two bottom rectangles, and draw a diagonal line to the middle (below).

IMG_9970

Draw the other one to match, creating a flag look. Erase any unneeded lines.

IMG_9972

It looks a bit more intricate, but is still really simple.

IMG_9973

#3 The Inverted

(augh!!! The blur! Please excuse(: )

This rectangle you start out with is a bit different, more like a oval rectangle together.

IMG_9975

(Sadly I realized I didn’t get pictures of the process, but I shall explain)

This one is very much the same as the last two, but swapped. Instead of drawing the flags under, they will be on top.

Hint: a simple way to do this is to turn your paper upside down! XD

IMG_9977

IMG_9978

#4 Up And Down

I like doing my banners this way. This is one of my favorite ones, too, I just love how flowey this (and the next one) one is.

It starts out with oval/rectangle, and where you would draw two lines (for the two rectangles) on the bottom third, draw one at the top third and one at the bottom third. (shown below)

IMG_9980

From there draw two rectangles. One will be up and one will be down.

Now you can add the diagonal “folds.” Only, these will be different. For bottom rectangle to the middle rectangle you will draw a diagonal line from the inside (for my case, bottom left) corner to the bottom (bottom right, for me) of the middle rectangle.

For the top, you will draw a line from the top inside corner (top right, for me) to the top of the middle rectangle (mine’s top left)

That way it’s “folding” correctly. (I’ve done it before where you have the two folds on the bottom. Heh, doesn’t quite work! XD)

#5 My favorite(:

I make this one all the time, I love it!

The rectangle for this one is a bit different, one corner curves up and one down. The top and bottom lines are parallel, they mirror each other.

You add just normal rectangles, one from the top third up and one from the bottom third down. Drawing the diagonal line as before, it takes shape! I love this one.

Then you can add the flag corners.

I just love the fluidity of this one, it’s so cute! I use this one all the time (or did I already say that many times? XD).

#6 Intricate And Flowy

This one starts the same as the past two, one side up and one down. Draw the diagonal “folds”

From those rectangles add one to each of those, the top one down, the bottom up (shown). Add the diagonal lines and then the little flag endings if you wish. (:

This one’s fun if you want it to be a bit fancier. It’s fun!
