After a month or two of slacking in the pen pal realm of things, I have decided to jump back in full swing with Christmas themed art and addresses! Ahh, I love making pretty Christmassy envelopes, so fun!
For this first one, I wanted to experiment with another texture, and I remembered I had these small red buttons I ad been saving for such and occasion. I drew poinsettias, the name and address, then randomly glued a few buttons down. I love the added texture, and it

I continued the same design, buttons and all on the back. I feel like doing a little something on the back makes it more complete. But really, any chance to do art is a good chance, right? (:

I packed up a little Christmas package to a secret Santa giftee, and did a similar design to the last on this, though a bit more simple. I just did four poinsettias and leaves and some loopy lettering. I have a clear glitter gel pen I love using on uh.. everything, so I used it on this, too. XD I love how vibrant these yellow package envelopes are, so fun to do art on!

This one is a bit more original: Holly and Berries(: I really like this one. Super simple, and cute! If you have two tones of the same color pens or markers, one a bit darker than the other, you should try fading or creating ombre in your font. I love squeezing this in for a little extra sumthin’ (:

This one is very similar, thought the font is more from and center, rather than the design. Come to gaze upon it, this is almost a replica of the prior envelope, just less greenery. Sometimes simple is fun, too! Do you go all out on art (of any type) or more minimal?

I did the same everything for my return address, but to seal the envelope I glued some buttons down. I think buttons or string or flowers or anything of that sort are a fun, unique and creative way to add some fun texture and other elements to letters. What do you think? How would/do you seal an envelope?

Well, that is all for now. I hope you enjoyed! And please don’t hesitate, leave ideas and suggestions in the comments, I’d love to hear what you think! ❤
Have a glorious day, and remember, Jesus loves you and cares about you, in whatever state you are in!
