My Envelopes Have… Hearts On Them? // Valentine’s Envelope Art

The Hearts Are Everywhere!

GGRRREEEETTTIIINNGGGSSS!!

Valentine’s day is near, and while it’s not a heavily celebrated holiday here, I did want to make a few envelopes that resembled the day.

Most of them were quite simple. This one below I did little hearts all over a brown envelope, but I wanted a bit more color. I’ve been really liking the look of torn edges (well, it depends what it’s on. XD) so I tore a bit of pink scrapbook paper and used double-sided tape to apply it to the middle. I ripped a few pieces of washi tape and added it in various areas of the ripped paper, for a bit more color. I addressed it on the scrapbook paper, too.

I’ve been doing this in different colors and shapes, too, it’s really cute and fun!

IMG_0144

I did a similar thing for this envelope. I took a lot of peach/pink colors and went a teensy bit crazy with hearts (heh), and since it was a cream envelope, I tore a piece of sketchbook paper (white) and used double-sided tape to apply. I added some black washi tape for a bit of contrast and also some gold stickers.

IMG_0142

I wanted a bit more of a simple approach, so I just used big letters in silver and then used a lot of different heart stickers I had. I think this turned out cute and I like that some of them are the puffy stickers and you can feel the different shapes.

IMG_0155

This next envelope is mainly lettering, with the addition of some hanging hearts. My favorite part of this is how easy it was. I just continued some of the lines on her name into hearts. I also put the address in between her first and last name, for fun.

IMG_0269

aaaAAAhh.. I went a bit wild. XD

This one I started out with her name and did a bit of a gradient and a drop shadow. I needed to add something to the left so that it would even out everything, so that’s why there’s one massive red heart over there. (:

I thought it would be fun to do “confetti” hearts around the name. What do you think?

IMG_0147

Heh, I also used a clear glitter Gelly Roll pen to add shimemr to the big heart.. because… because…IMG_0148

This was a throwback to last year’s Valentine’s day post, (go check it out!) though, instead of a 3D paper look I used some red felt/foam paper to do the heart balloon. I also added some clouds.

I went with a more elegant lettering style; I quite like the outcome!

IMG_0153

I went very simple with this one, a heart shaped balloon and brush lettering. I like how simple and cute it became.

IMG_0159

I made another “hanging heart” illustration. I made a wreath shape and just went around and around with a black pen and then threw in some hearts. This turned out one of my favorites. (:

IMG_0267

On the back of one of the envelopes I did some more hanging hearts from the seal of the letter down. Simple, but fun!

IMG_0270

I thought crystals might be fun, not necessarily Valentine’s themed, but pink and purple(:

IMG_0271

ALAS! HURRAH! The snow came to GA for a day and a half, so here are a few pictures from that. It snowed four days ago and was gone the next day. Guess what? it’s 64º right now. *flabbergasted*

Recent Letter Art… PART TWO!

Letter Art-3

Hello again!

I recently made a letter art post, though many more pictures have amassed in the good ole’ memory card, so I thought I would empty it until the next time! (which, I almost promise, won’t be a week from this one)

I hope you enjoy!

I love to theme my letters or make everything (inside and out) the same. This letter to my friend Bronwyn I kept the same, using the gold Tombow dual pen 026, and grey one, N89 and the bullet end of a back one to create a shadow effect and I also used the grey one for a border.

IMG_9908

I feel like keeping it cohesive and match-matchy makes letters really pretty and there are so many ways to change it up with the lettering and art and styles, so fun!

IMG_9906

I love creating wild, fun art on the envelopes. Though, if you’re using waterbased pens, be sure to seal it in something or else it will look like watercolor if it goes through rain–and you might not want that. XD

IMG_9646

Hehe. My friend’s name is IrisAnne, so I attempted to make the letters in her name different flowers. Failed attempt? XD

IMG_9647

I love using washi tape as borders, and lately I’ve been loving layering two tapes, or even three, for variety in color and shapes. It’s simple, but still fun!

IMG_9913

I layered this one as well. I love layering pattern on solid or vise versa. (Thanks to one of my pen pals for sending some silver washi tape. I love it!)

IMG_9917

For that letter I used a silver theme, with that same backdrop black shading as the first letter. OH! My brother got me some awesome pen+gear pastel envelopes for Christmas that have a sticky backs so that you don’t have to lick them. *ahhhhhhh* I DIDN’T KNOW THIS MAGIC WAS REAL. If you understand the mucho disgust in licking the envelope, you’ll love these.

IMG_9915

This one I just did a basic black font, but I went with a more script font than I normally use. I want to start adding more loops, but I don’t know, they scare me! (:

IMG_9918

I went very abstract and bright with this one. I wanted to include bunches of shapes. What do you think?

IMG_9663

This one’s pretty simple, another floral theme. This pen pal loves purple, so I tried to include that a good bit(:

IMG_9665

I experimented with a circular/abstract/mandala art in watercolor for this one. I really enjoyed the outcome! It was fun creating the shapes.

IMG_9670

I wanted to use a yellow envelope for this letter, so alongside the “sunny” (know where I’m going?XD) yellow, I drew a rather sketchy sun. I think it turned out pretty cute! I love yellow.

IMG_9657

I wrote my friend Sammi in French, so I addressed it (other than the actual address, I didn’t think the postman would be fluent. XD) in French, alongside a flower. I also use that same technique for a backdrop as before.

IMG_9902

I painted this pen pal’s name, but then I thought, “hmm… this needs some color.” VUA LA!   (is there an actual way to spell that?) Hehe. I just randomly placed oblong shapes in different colors everywhere.

IMG_9676

For the entering greeting in a letter like “Dear …” or “Hello, …” I like doing lettering and I usually close with lettering as well.

IMG_9675

This one I basically used my Tombow pen as a highlighter and lettered on top and added some random greenery. I did this to a lot of letters because I liked it, but I’l only show this one. It’s fun to do this in different colors. (:

IMG_9651

I love using bold washi tapes on the back with matching lettering. Ah, don’t you love washi tapes? ♥

IMG_9911

IMG_9914

(I use that washi tape combo a lot. XD)

IMG_9674

IMG_9650

Well, that’s all for now. I hope you enjoyed part two! I hope you’re all having a great day!

A Few Words // Cassia’s Photo Contest! Day 1. // A tag from Clara

Hello!

It’s actually cold. We’ve got the heat on. We set out the chipped pumpkin flower pot. And I’m wearing my yard sale striped bunny socks.

It must not be Summer any more.

Well, I haven’t done many posts where I’m just talking and talking for many a word until I say “I guess that’s good for now,” So Today’s The Day™. (Does it seem right that I just pictured myself as some sort of interesting looking superhero then? Teeheehee)

So, starting out, may I just say….

I’ve abandoned Inktober.

I know, I deserve the shaming shake-of-the-head, but it really wasn’t my thing, you know? The prompts just weren’t my style, aand I wasn’t really enjoying it like I ought. (Does the, “like I ought” strangely remind you of Little Women like it does me?)

I’m still drawing every day for the rest of this month, but the prompts are out the window and crushed under a moving car. (Wow, no need to be harsh, Audrey!) Anyway, I guess I’m still technically “doing” Inktober, but promptless.

I’m trying to get back in the rhythm of drawing more realistically, so I’ve been working on eyes. They’re a fun thing to draw and paint.

Yippee! Today’s the first day of Cassia’s photo contest, and the “prompt” today was door. Now, you wouldn’t believe the puzzle I had this morning taking a picture of doors. It was a fun challenge, though! Our door handles were a fun shape and color against our sage colored doors.

10 things that make me happy tag.png
From Clara’s blog. Cuuutteee!

Clara was so sweet to tag me for the “10 THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY TAG” and what better time to do it?

Rules: List 10 things that make you happy. (Linking to them, sharing pictures, writing poems about them, telling jokes, etc. are all encouraged but not required.) Then, tag 10 people who make you happy (and notify them of their tag).

No. 1: Maisy Lou Hoo (Maisy (: )

Maisy makes me so happy, when she’s jumping in the air, snoring, or ferociously biting my ankles (for fun, of course, I think… maybe…).

img_9249img_9244

No. 2: Pen pals and letter writing.

Have you ever gotten a personalized, beautiful piece of mail? Whenever I make or get letters, I always am so happy.

IMG_8151

No. 3: Music, both ways.

I play lots of instruments, Piano, Guitar, Violin, Ukulele, and I love listening to music as well. I get moved by music. It’s such a wonderful thing!

IMG_9676

IMG_9625

No. 4: Teaching Music

I’m a piano teacher, and there’s something bout it that’s just so great. I love seeing my students progress and enjoy their playing.

No. 5: Bullet Journaling

Now, you people know me. I Bullet Journal, and It’s one of my very favorite things. The personalization of it is the best part, and they’re so effective and cute!

IMG_9700
Here

No. 6: Leaves

It’s that time of year! I LOVE Autumn and the beautiful leaves and pumpkins that are out.  The best part of the year!

(:

IMG_9779

No. 7: Puppies

Aww! Who could go wrong with puppies?

IMG_0458

No. 8: Brush Lettering

This is something I’ve loved learning and it is so pretty. I love all the pens as well(:

IMG_0334

No. 9: Pens + stationery

AH! How I do love these things. Pens have been my collection able items since Gel pens were the rage. (I still love me a good juicy gel pen!)

IMG_9931

No. 10: Photography

I’ve been into this since I got my first dSLR camera, It’s so fun, the different varieties of things to photograph. I’m so glad cameras were invented, where would we be without them?

IMG_9111IMG_9042

That was so much fun! Thank you, Clara!

Now for my tag-ees………

Cassia

Ariana

Meredith

Hannah

Abigail

Starling

Sydney

Rosy

Gracie

Esmeralda

I hope you all enjoy! And if you were not tagged and wish to do this, feel free! I’ll enjoy seeing what makes you happy(:

So, life is busy. Does it seem like it just gets busier and busier as you get older? I know I’ve talked about this before, but time is such a gift. I’m putting some elbow grease into working on savoring every moment as I am now, a teenage girl.

Side note…

IT’S HARD!

Sometimes we look forward to something and look forward to something, that we rush away the days that matter more. Now, that’s a bit extreme, but still, I remember times when I would be dying for Christmas to come, and Thanksgiving and things that mattered would be trampled under my Santa’s elf slippers. I mean, wow.

I even had a Rudolph costume, complete with a harness with bells and a red nose. Mmm. (Being ten, ya know? XD)

The remaining slice of October is quite jam-packed, but I like it.

I am doing a lot of school now that I’m in High school, but we still get up at the crack of dawn to go yardsaling on Fridays and Saturdays. Hey, it’s economics class! (:

Doesn’t it seem like the plural of “Moose” would be “Meese,” like “Goose” is “Geese?” Hmm.

I miss Morty the moose!

(from our trip out West)

IMG_9508

The color is still here, but, luckily, its’ cool now. The mornings have been in the 40º’s!

Do you like cold weather?

IMG_9973.JPG

Well, this is nearing 1,000 words, a length of posts I haven’t done in awhile, so this has been fun! Do you enjoy a variety of things in a post, or just one topic? I can’t decide. I think I like reading both.

What do you have coming up this week?

Look back for a few days to see my photography for Cassia’s contest. I’m looking forward to the different shots I’m going to take! It’s going to time out perfectly for some of the shots, we’re going to Peachtree City (near Atlanta) and Stone Mountain for the Country Living Fair (post coming!).

I hope you’re having a wonderful day, and I can’t wait to see if you’re doing the tag!

Do you like batman? Do you have striped bunny socks? What’s your favorite part of Autumn? Do you say “Meese?” Can you drive?

P.S. Exactly 1,000 words!

Autumn // Pen-pal-ly Tidbits

Knocking out Inktober Promts-2.png

Welcome!

Autumn is my favorite time of the year, the colors, the pumpkins, the weather (😍), the leaves, and I love my letters to reflect that.

I’ve been researching fall quotes and poems like the ever popular and lovely..

Aren’t you glad we live in a world where there are Octobers?

By the lovable and entertaining Anne of Green Gables.

Writing letters, to some people might seem like a thing of the past, especially because of all of the electronic devices these days, but it’s SO enjoyable to write and receive letters in the mail.

Without further adieu…

I don’t particularly love orange, but when it comes to fall it fits perfectly! Adding little leaves and subtle things like that at little fun touches to letters.

One thing I’ve learned is that making your address and your return address designs and styles the same looks really pretty and uniform.

IMG_9734.JPG

Autumnal colored wax seals make every thing fun. I love mixing brown and red and orange and yellow. Brown envelopes look really nice this time of year (they’re actually my favorite for any time), with the reds and yellows and oranges.

IMG_9669.JPG

This was a fun portion of a Robert Frost poem. I used watercolor with this one. I LOVE LEAVES! (:

IMG_9658

Same thing here, watercolor leaves and brush lettering.

IMG_9663

Now, this isn’t particularly fall-like, but my good friend and pen-pal Sammi and I are doing a letter theme: Things with wheels. I guess one wheel counts? Hehe.

Themes are really fun between letters. My friend Alex and I are doing one verse from each book of the bible, taking turns, in order, all the way through. (WHEW! XD) It’s really fun! I’ve done holidays before, States in order, Songs starting with each letter in the alphabet, and flowers. It’s fun, and It keeps you thinking about the next letter!

The memory ones, like bible verses or holidays or songs are fun, because you get to research!

IMG_9752.JPG

Washi tape, oh how I love thee! Hobby Lobby, you guys, is the washi tape castle! (Oh my. Hmm… how do you like spurt of the moment naming? XD) I love the plaids and solids. (My washi tapes: Glitter and Plaid: Target dollar section. Red: Hobby Lobby, Yellow: Peach and Poppy‘s Autumn Snail mail kit, to which I was honored to help with 😊)

It’s fun for design, sealing, and just a pretty factor! AH!

IMG_9928.JPG

Colored pens! For designing envelope art and doing brush lettering. (Pens top: Tombow dual brush pens. Bottom pens: Sakura Koi brush pens. Orange seen on first envelope(: )

IMG_9931.JPG

I love putting stickers on the envelopes or as gifts inside. I feel like stickers, pretty ones, are becoming popular these days, and it’s so fun to decorate with them.

IMG_9933.JPG

Including fun things, such as word search, stickers, vintage postcards and stamps, poems, ribbon, bracelets, gum, washi tape, music, pictures, quotes, etc. are a fun way to spruce up letters and make them fun for the receiver. These word search puzzles are at dollar tree! Little things you collect or have can always be used. It’s so fun!

IMG_9934.JPG

I hope you enjoyed this Autumnal post! Let me know what you think, I’d love to hear from you! Tell me in the comments below, or here.

Have a beautifully wonderful Autumn day!

Oof. // Inktober Mid-point + How to Knock Out Prompts

Knocking out Inktober Promts.png

Hello, Friends!

It almost makes me a weeeeee bit teary-eyed to think how RAPIDLY October is flying past, my favorite month of the year is going as fast as the rest of this year has been! Learning to savor the time we have right now is something I’ll probably work on for a long time in my life.

ANYWAY…

All that being said, I’ve been drawing using the Inktober prompts every day, and it’s been very tricky a lot of times. (I mean, how do you draw something using the prompt “Legend”? Hehe, it wasn’t my best Inktober day🤣)

The first day was “Ring” as the prompt, so my process was sketching out different things. I first sketched out a ring , then a girls with a ring on her finger, but I wasn’t feeling that. I remember racking my brain trying to think of another thing, and the I thought, “Oh! A ringing phone!”

It always helps me to create little thumbnails of what your ideas are and a smaller version of the drawing, just to see if you like it.

IMG_9910.JPG            IMG_9911

Jumping over to the fourth day was “Freeze” as the prompt. I automatically thought of Frozen, to over on the left I drew a lady with ice powers (I wonder if she’s warm or cold blooded?😂), but I didn’t love that idea. Freeze tag! What else? (: That’s what I stuck with and I quite enjoyed the process of day four.

IMG_9912

Now day seven is probably one of my favorite drawings. I used calligraphy ink this day, where the prompt was “Enchanting,” so it was a new challenge. I decided my version of enchanting would be someone who was sweet and beautiful, so along came this character. I really like the different shades and contrasts you can get using ink, and it does really well with lettering (like where I wrote “Inktober 2019” over there).

IMG_9913

Day eight makes me laugh all the time, because the skinny girl with the bored expression is the same face I make. XD. (ALSO: Ignore the girl to the right, she was a random sketch I don’t like🤣) Stripes on sleeves are the BEST to draw and paint, because the torso part go across and the sleeves are slanted. SO GREAT! I love figuring out how to draw 2D/3D.

IMG_9915

Day ten, “Pattern,” was a fun one. The girl I painted has a plaid shirt, polka dot undershirt, and striped paints. Heehee! New fashion choices always puzzle me. 🤣

I painted in the ink with water different patterns and I thought I would make it interesting(:

IMG_9919

Day 14 was a lot of fun, especially elongating people. The prompt was “Overgrown,” so that’s what I did! I added a lot of random sketches, too.

*Small Note*

I do believe the illo sketchbooks are quite possibly my favorite sketchbooks I’ve used and I love the spiral-less, lay-flat-ness, high quality of these.

*End of Small Note*

img_9920.jpg

If you will, excuse the poor quality of this drawing. (:

The prompt today was “Ornament,” so I drew a girl/lady hanging one on her tree for Christmas. Blec. Hehe!

I’ve been drawing people to try and stretch that muscle for this month. Whew! It’s been tricky, but I’ve been enjoying it.

By the way, hands, feet and mouths are very tricky for me. I don’t know why, because I have all of those things! Anyway, that’s today’s drawing.

img_9922.jpg

Well, I hope you enjoyed seeing that peek at a few of my Inktober drawings for this year. It has been really fun so far!

Stay tuned for another post soon!

A Collection // Letter Art and Other Things

Add a heading-11.png

This is a good day, isn’t it?

Summer is most assuredly here.

It’s proven in the sky. Well, um, the heat. It is rather hot. (:

Well, today is a day for art and things related! I have collected a few photos of letter art and some watercolorings and such. Let’s go, shall we?

I’ve been doing a lot of floral lately around the address and such.

I have a few questions about my one little yellow rose in the corner… XD

IMG_8151.jpg

I have been making a few envelopes lately and it’s fun to use different scrapbook paper. I  had this little “counting my blessings” sticker and I thought that would be a fun address sticker. (I’ve found it’s a tidbit difficult to write on this particular paper(: )

IMG_8156.JPGIMG_8155.JPG

A little collection of a letter. I like sticking with a color theme for letters. I always like collecting little things like bookmarks, cute notecards, stickers, quotes, paintings, it’s fun to fill a letter with doo-da’s(:

IMG_8126.JPG

Yellow has been a cheery color to me lately and I’ve been using it a lot. I like sunflowers a lot, so yellow + sunflowers, hmm? hmm? (:

IMG_8139

A friend of mine had a birthday, so I made her a card. I stuck pretty simple for this one, but I enjoyed how it came out. Do you watercolor?

IMG_8129

My friend Laura wondered if I would like to write three letters to some elderly people in an assisted living home, so I said yes! (: I made three different letters. Thanks, Laura! ‘Twas fun(:

IMG_8160.JPGIMG_8159.JPGIMG_8158.JPG

I’ve been cutting pages of multi-media paper in half and doing watercolor borders. It adds a little somthin’ somthin’ (:

IMG_8143.JPG

IMG_8144.JPG
Sorry about the strange lighting. O.o

You know something that’s a little (fun, but) difficult? Teeth and watercolor. It’s a little tricky to make it look like teeth! Over all, I like how she turned out.

IMG_8140.JPG

A tree.

A watercolor tree. (:

Trees are tricky! (alliteration)

IMG_8134.JPG

Quotes/verses on ATC’s are a fun thing to add in a letter. (Also fun to make!)

IMG_8123.JPG

This is one of my favorite verses, and I thought I’d try a large-scale painting.

IMG_8130.JPG

Someone asked me for a painting of a cake, so I made one(: Mm… now I want cake!

IMG_8080.JPG

We also went to a Atlanta Braves game, to which my camera was present. We had the next row down from the highest seats. O.o My stomach got a little knotted up, ’twas quite high(:

Bullet Journaling // Why It Works

Add a heading-10.png

Hello there! I hope everyone is having a great day!

I was filling out things in my bullet journal earlier and I was thinking, “What did I do before this!?”  Bullet journaling has worked well and has been really fun in the process, and today I’m just going to share some various tidbits about it and why it works so well.

To start off, there’s something I always haven’t been extremely faithful about remembering: The bullet key.

This is a very helpful way to remember the importance, time, if you completed something, if you need to save, if you need to buy, if you need to check off your list kinds of things.

I always put mine in the front of my bullet journal so that when I need to go look for it, it’s not hidden away in the middle someplace.

I stuck to some basic ones, like “task done” “task completed” “important” “good idea” and such. I’ve heard of other people doing a lot more things in order to help them remember.

If you’re just starting out with bullet journaling, or even if you’ve done it for awhile, this is still very helpful. The key, and the whole bullet journal as a matter of fact, is completely customizable to your own taste.

IMG_8084.JPG

Now, when I first started bullet journaling, I didn’t have something that I really like now, a content page/index.

My newest bullet journal, the one I’m in now, has one and it’s one of the most helpful things in it. (click HERE to see my Bullet Journal)

IMG_8087.JPG

Habit Trackers are probably my most helpful and favorite things in a bullet journal, because when they’re finished (especially if you didn’t miss a day) they look really neat, and they make you want to do that thing to be able to fill it in.

I’ve done all kinds; ones where you fill it in with certain colors, others its own separate box with a favorite black fineliner.

IMG_8088.JPG

IMG_8099.JPG

I really like to do a goals page. It’s always fun to see, at the end of the month, what goals you met.

Creating “TO-DO” lists for the month and cleaning plans are always great and very efficient and good to do ahead of time and to be able to add to later, because you can take a glance, go do something on your list, come back and check it off.

The main thing about a bullet journal that is so great is that it’s all in one. You get planner, calendar, to-do’s, goals, a journal (if you add that), in one book, and the good thing is that it’s only one book!

Hehe, I know I just said that twice, but that’s really the best thing about it. Instead of opening five different sources to check off or see various things, the all-in-one is so great. I prefer a A5 size journal because if you need to take it anywhere it isn’t too big.

Something else I prefer is a dotted grid. This is just me, but when I create a grid or calendar or do brush lettering, I don’t like doing it over back black lines. There are also square grids. I prefer a dotted grid that isn’t too noticeable, but it’s not just a blank piece of paper. (A grid really helps with lines and writing)

IMG_9347
You can see the dotted grid here.

I have a lot of pens I use when bullet journaling, but some of my favorites are my *Tombow Dual brush pens. These are water-based, brush and bullet nib pens that are great for writing, doing brush lettering, or coloring in certain things. They blend really well, too, which is something fun for your bullet journal’s look.

Some of my other favorites are my *Pigma Microns in black. Ah! I love these. They last long time and are great for writing and drawing grids.

I love to use a kneaded eraser and just a regular light pencil (like a 4H or 2H) to sketch out my designs. This is probably you have around your house!

And we can’t forget a good ‘ole ruler!

I hope this post was helpful and that you enjoyed it! Let me know what you would like to see next. More posts of the like?

Have a wonderful day!

Looking Back // June

Birthday-10

Mph.

This is how I feel about it (Almost) being July:

shocked oh my god GIF

How, though! How can it be! THE SEVENTH MONTH!! I just simply can’t believe it. I knoit’s different for everyone, but is this year just flying out the window and gone?

Anyway, it cannot be changed, so I shall enjoy it. What about you?

June was a action-packed (action isn’t quite the word–crazily busy, p’raps?) month, so I didn’t have that much time for posts. The first one I did this month was:

June Bullet Journal Setup

I used a pastel/flowery theme for this month’s BUJO setup, and it was a pretty fun post. I also included a chunk of art that I’ve done recently.

We went to Fairhope, Alabama the second week of June, so I had a lot of chance for photography.

IMG_0008

My second post (and the only other, besides this), was a devotion I called “Ask Boldly.”

Ask Boldly // A Devotion

I’ve been wanting to start posting my devotions, so I thought that there is no time like the present! What did y’all think? Should I do more?

I have gotten a lot of photography in over the past few days. Lots of sunsets and flowers and scenery.

IMG_0143.JPG

There was also a TON of time to do some art (sarcasm).

IMG_0217

I’m excited for July! (Even though it shouldn’t be here yet😒)Does anyone have any big plans? Anything fun? We don’t have much, but I’m hoping for many posts! Is there anything you’d like to see?

I hope y’all are having a wonderful day!

Better Late Than Never//May BUJO Setup

Birthday-7.png

Hello, Friends!

Did you all have a happy Mother’s Day with your Moms? Ours was quite delightful. We went to see the new movie “Breakthrough” that is a true story. SO GOOD! Have any of you seen it?

Well, I believe I haven’t done too well with posting this month, so I am making up for that by showing you all May’s setup (although it’s late… *ahem*).

I have been using my Bullet Journal a lot lately because we’re preparing to go out of town (Savannah, Georgia), and it has my packing lists and to-do’s that I keep referring to. That’s one of the many reasons I love Bullet Journaling. You don’t have to have all different things in different journals and notebooks, it can be all-in-one!

My opening calendar page I decided to go for something simple, so I just did calendar squares with pink. I have a calendar, but I always go to this because I use it all the time and can see it all at a glance.

I had to stretch the calendar one three days, so instead of leaving that a blank page, I put my month’s goals and to-do’s (my main ones).

I love to track my letters, incoming and outgoing, so I went with that same pink color to fill in the rectangles. I used my Koi Coloring brush pens for the pink color.

My habit tracker for this month I used the same technique I’ve been using since March. I like to have the habits laid out in separate groups. My habits this month are to drink 5 or more glasses of water a day, flossing my teeth, practicing my piano for 1 hour or more, keep my room straight, and use witch hazel twice a day.

This is my tracker for walking. My Mom and I are participating in the Spring100 over at Shiloh Photography, so I’m tracking that as well.

I made a packing list to help me be more organized. This is very helpful in case you ever go on trips (And it’s also fun to check the squares(: )

That is it for now on my Bullet Journal. What page was your favorite?

Well, I also have some artwork and photography that I’d like to show y’all. Keep on ‘a scrollin’ to see!
